The Red Range 10ft Carp Feeder rod is designed for commercial carp fisheries where the next fish could be a small roach or a double-figure carp.
The 10ft (3.05m) model has a dark, burgundy red finish with a cork and duplon handle, screw-down reel seat and a neat keeper ring, offering superb value for money.
These versatile carbon blanks are lightweight and well balanced with a beautiful fish playing action that is rigid enough to provide pinpoint, accurate casting, but forgiving enough to be a perfect shock absorber and avoid hook pulls. As the power of the rod comes into play progressively, playing even small carp and silverfish is an enjoyable experience, yet the rod is still capable of landing larger hard-fighting carp with ease.
This version is rated for reel lines from 4lb to 7lb (normally 0.18mm to 0.23mm) and is supplied with tips of 1.5oz and 2oz test curve. It will cast small to medium sized feeders up to 30 metres both easily and accurately and the shorter length is perfect for smaller swims where room to cast and play fish is restricted.
