writing about the Ronnie Rig it has established itself as an amazingly effective
low pop up arrangement. Its a sensationally effective pop up presentation that
will rightfully stand the test of time, like other classics such as the Hinged
Stiff Rig, Chod Rig, Magaligner, Blow Back, etc.

Ronnie Rigs includes three perfectly constructed hook sections that have been
constructed to exacting standards here in the UK and their launch now makes this
rig available to everyone!
These Ronnie Rigs use our exquisitely sharp
size 4 and size 6 Covert Dark Mugga hooks attached to the new dedicated XT
Flexi-Ring Kwik Lok Swivel. Essentially, the combination of the Mugga hooks
in-turned eye, swept shank and amazing razor sharp point is particularly
effective in getting the most out of these rigs, as it creates a fast and
aggressive reacting hooking mechanism that takes a firm hook hold. Each end
section features a mat finished sliding Covert Hook Swivel, held in position
with a Covert Hook Stop.
This phenomenal rig has been tried, tested and
proven time and time again on big carp waters across the UK and Europe with
truly devastating results!
To get started, all you need to do is tie your
favoured hooklink material onto the Flexi-Ring, tailoring the hooklink length
and material to the nature of the lake bed youre fishing over and the lead
arrangement that you are using. As a rough guide we recommend monofilaments like
our hugely successful Trick-Link and Invisi-Link for Helicopter rigs, and softer
hooklinks like the awesome Ultra Skin on Covert Lead Clip (or similar)
arrangements.
Finally, all you need to do is tie on a pop up that is
buoyant enough to hold the rig section up. You should add a small amount of
Critical Mass (Tungsten Putty) moulded around the shrink tubing, that holds the
XT Swivel in place, so the rig sinks slowly to the lake bed. If the hookbait is
not buoyant enough the hook will not be able to rotate freely and this will
detract from the rigs ultimate performance.
We generally prefer to use
and recommend a small pop up. The easiest way to attach readymade pop ups is to
thread a section of main line or dental floss onto the hook swivel and pull the
two tags through the bait. Pull the dental floss through the bait whislt pushing
the pop up onto the Covert Hook Swivel eye (which helps keep it in place).
Finally, tie a number of granny knots flush to the outside of the hook bait,
trim the floss to 1cm and blob the tag ends to secure the hook bait firmly in
place.

*If you find that the Covert Hook Stop
starts to move on the shank of the hook it may need replacing. We recommend
feathering the cast to reduce the impact on the waters surface, lowering the
chances of this happening.

If the bank holiday falls on a Friday, the last collection will be on Thursday at 4:00 PM.

We will select the most suitable courier for your order based on the items purchased.
Orders placed before 2pm Monday – Thursday will be dispatched next working day delivery (Tuesday – Friday)
Orders placed Friday before 2pm will be dispatched for Monday delivery, unless Saturday option is selected then it will be dispatched for Saturday service.

If you miss the 1st delivery attempt, DHL will automatically return the next workday. If you also missed our 2nd delivery attempt, you could collect your parcel at a DHL RegionHub this is held for 1 week before being returned to us.

FedEx will attempt to deliver your package three times before returning it to the shipper.

Undelivered parcels

If an order is returned to us by the courier or Royal Mail due to an incorrect address provided at the checkout, there will be a fee of £10 deducted from the refund. This covers both the cost of sending the item and the return postage. We urge all customers to double-check their shipping details at the time of purchase to avoid any unnecessary charges.

Royal Mail or the courier will make several attempts (refer to couriers above) to deliver your package before it is returned to us. If this item is returned to us there will be a fee of £10 deducted from the refund. This covers both the cost of sending the item and the return postage.
What if my order arrives damaged?
In the unlikely event that your order arrives in an unsuitable condition, please refuse parcel and ask courier to mark as damaged for return. Please inform us as soon as possible
Returns
If you are not 100% satisfied with your order and wish to return anything, please inform us and return this item within 30 days of delivery. Any items returned with no information could result in delay in processing – Postage costs are to be met by the customer.
We will gladly exchange unsuitable or unwanted products unused in original condition and packaging.
If in the unlikely event we have sent incorrect goods or the item develops a fault (within manufactural warranty), we will resolve the problem as fast as possible and refund any additional postal charges incurred by the customer.
If the item is out of warranty, we will always do your best to help resolve this where possible.
